In this full Design & Planning project, we embraced the existing Art Deco feel to the property and remodelled the exterior with crisp white render, a new porch and black crittal windows. We also added a large first floor window to increase the light in the very dark hallway, and by moving the stairs, we were able to create a triple height valted entrance hall. A two-storey extension to the rear of the property opens up the footprint of the house and allowed us to create a large kitchen / dining / lounge space served by a pantry and utility / boot room. Our clients love to socialise, with cocktail making being a particular passion, so the original living room has now been converted into a cocktail lounge with its own bar, for house parties and family game nights. A snug room has also been incorporated into the ground floor design, for when quiet time and relaxation is needed.

The addition of a two-storey extension to the rear, has enabled us to create a large primary bedroom with a versatile lounge area on the landing that makes the most of the beautiful garden views, along with an en-suite and dressing room. There are also two further bedrooms for the children on this floor, both supported by en-suite bathrooms so they will work long into adulthood. The attic space has been extended to provide two guest bedrooms and a bathroom along with storage for the family.

​Out in the garden, a large al-fresco dining area beneath a pergola, overlooks a pool area which we are certain will see plenty of summer fun in years to come. The pool is also supported by a pool house with changing room and a garden bar.
